DAY 0:

Dear fans and followers of Lambent Fuse. This kicks off our Production Diary for the filming of the feature film Lambent Fuse! This is Matt Cici, Director/Co-writer. I'm prepping props, dressing the set, and the doing some other daily tasks for Day 1 as we speak. In addition we're working on the Blue Revised copy of the screenplay (which is the second draft of the final script).

Today, we shot a commercial for a scene within a scene of Lambent Fuse. It went really well. The weather was beautiful and made the scene just that more impressive. We're really excited to cut it and place it in the film.

We've got a lot of work to do before the start of filming, but we're extremely confident we'll get there. We are shooting one of our favorite scenes as the kickoff of principal photography!

We hope to have pictures and videos (interviews from set) as many times as we can during production. Look forward to sharing this experience with you.

Lambent Fuse: Live Filming

The filmmakers of LAMBENT FUSE — an emerging Minnesota independent feature length film — will be shooting a scene live in Uptown on Friday, June 25 from 5-10 PM. Watch the cast and crew work from script to screen! They will be writing, rehearsing, shooting, editing, and screening the entire scene live. Participate and interact with the filmmakers as they work.

They begin shooting at Uptown Theatre at 5:30pm, and will wrap in time to screen at Stella's Fish Cafe & Prestige Oyster Bar starting at 9:00pm.

This event will also kick-off the side project 'The Blaze' — a goal to involve the community in the filmmaking process and integrate the art community. They will be revealing and giving away a signed poster of the Official 'The Blaze' Logo! There may be spoken word artists there and some music artists as well. All are welcome!
