Festival Screening for Lambent Fuse

Hamline University has accepted our submission for their 2009 Film Festival.

We've created an exclusive festival cut of the second teaser trailer for Lambent Fuse. This version follows more of a short film format and will only be available at the screening. The online version of the teaser will be shorter and will be released on May 11th after 8pm.

The festival version is called 'The Condition' and will explore one of the lead characters in the feature film, Allison Swanson (Marci Lucht), and her kleptomania. It also introduces the character Freddie Goone (Rhett Romsaas), and previews the two's future relationship.

The screening takes place at Hamline University in the Anne Simley Theatre at 8:30 pm on Saturday, May 9th, 2009, followed by a Q&A session with the cast and crew. Admission is FREE.

Teaser Trailer 2 Announced for May 11th

We're working on the second teaser trailer and will be posting it all over the web on May 11th.

It will first hit the facebook event page between the times 8:00pm and 8:30pm and will then ignite across the web - the locations include everywhere else Lambent Fuse has a presence: Facebook Fan Page, YouTube, MySpace, on this blog, and the official website.

We announced the teaser to post on 4/27 first, but have postponed it 'till 5/11 due to a recent submission into a film festival. We'd like to garner some more publicity and attention for the film and the teaser, so check back HERE for details on when and where if it's accepted.

Welcome to the Lambent Fuse Production Diary.

During the summer of 2009, Lambent Fuse will be releasing blogs on a weekly basis, informing readers about the production process.

With the recent acceptance of a grant awarded to Lambent Fuse, the director, Matt Cici, will be working intensely on the screenplay's adaption to the camera. Weekly updates will hit the Production Diary section of the film's official blog.

Content discussing the progress of the screenplay and how it is transformed to the camera will be available to the public. This content will most often be in the form of text; however there will occasionally be vidcasts and podcasts. We'd also like to expose some of the visual tests that we'll be doing, so be sure to check often.
