In this clip I sensed desolation. A romance marked by a sadness. It was simple and yet it spoke volumes. It seemed to me that they were both experiencing inner anguish, that words couldn't express their suffering. Maybe there had been a more life-giving love between them, and now they are together for the memory of what was once happiness. Why is he on the floor when she is on the bed? Such a great distance between them and yet they reach for each other longingly. Sadly beautiful.

It definitely made me feel many things. Loneliness and despair probably being the main two. However, I also felt a connection between the two characters and yet they were distant. They were sharing each others' suffering and yet they didn't feel they could comfort each other. Consequently, one is on the bed and the other is on the floor. It seems almost as if they had lost a child and they knew of no way to be comforted.
